In Our Hood

Artspace DC and Pleasant Plains Workshop are partnering to present a group exhibition and community dialogue surrounding ideas of gentrificiation. In Our ‘Hood consists of visual art exhibitions at Artspace DC and PPW matched with programming, performances, talks, and screenings at other venues in the community.

    Opening Reception:
    Friday, May 25 , 2012
    6-8pm at Artspace 
    (614 S Street NW), 7-9pm at Pleasant Plains Workshop (2608 Georgia Ave NW)

     Gentrification: Good, Bad, Indifferent?’ presented in conjunction with Transformer’s [Frame]work panel series, Saturday, June 9, 3:30-5:30pm,  Gateway community center at Wardman Court 1350 Clifton Street Northwest DC 20009

    Post Reception to be held at Transformer (1404 P Street NW)
